My latest addiction
Ahh I am so snowed under with uni assements y_y Its not that I have much to do... It's just that they all has all these little fiddly bits that i've been procrasinating about all semester, and now its snowballed into some gaint Katamari-esque suber ball of raging doom! *ahem*
Okay so to 'relieve' my high levels of stress and anxiety, I've borrowed my brother's girfriend's DS lite. She's got a few games but I've really got hooked on this one called 'Animal Crossing' I know it's an older game, but I've never played t before. And I think it's awesome. <3
I've just 'moved in' with her, I've found the whole concept is really cute. I can even make constellations, and I just love all the character interactions. We keep talking about it like its a real place.
Me: Oh, I changed the carpet in our apartment, and Curly gave us a new lamp.
Her: Orly? cool, thats nice of him, usually he just yells at you.
Me: Yeah, just the other day he was telling me how awesome the letter you sent him was.
Her: Haha did he really like it?
Me: Yeah, I heard him telling Baarbraa that you said...ect.ect
I am SO getting one of these in my holidays now.

'Through dangers untold and trials unumbered'
My brother and his girlfriend (i'm still in denial about their 'wedding') wrote off their crappy car the other day. Which is good, in a way because it was costing them 4x what it was really worth in shoddy insurance deals and repairs. But it's bad because they were in a pretty big accident.
From what I've "gathered" from various conversations; they were driving at around 12:30am on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere, heading out to a party she was waitressing at, when she lost control of the car and rolled it. It then went down a steep embankment.
Much kuffeling hapened, but in short - they both survived (when paramedics got there, they said they shoudn't have) umm yeah. Again, they didn't want to call my mum until it was morning xD. and this happened all on Mothers Day too.
So now they have no car. Hopefully their insurance'll pay it off.
yeah, just felt like I needed to express this.

Dreams really can come true... Almost.
Okay, with this rant, you should know that ever since I was 6, above all else I have wanted a dog. I have always wanted a dog. No specific reason why or breed (I've gone though phases from wanting a dalmation to a tibetian spaniel and evertything in between) I've just wanted one. But my parents still to this day, say no. 'Dogs are too much hassel'; 'dog smell'; 'you wouldn't look after it'; 'You don't need a dog you've got your brothers' -yea right I dont want to shove a collar and lead onto my brother, imagine that, 'Here Mikey, Mikey. Come here. Come on! Good Boy!' .... It's just wrong on so many levels. Ikk.
Anyway, I've had this scenario in my mind that one day walking to (or from) school that a stray dog would just 'follow me home' It wouldnt have any collars or tags, and I'd just have to keep it. Ha yeah right!
So this morning i'm running terribly late for uni, and not two houses down a brown dog walks up to me. '!' I think, 'Here doggy' I call. Can this be? It bounds up to me and I grab its collar. Darn. It must have an owner. Oh well, I check it's tags to see if there's a name/number/address. Theres 2 tags, one from the RSPCA (ooh, maybe it IS a stray) and one from the city council.
I see an older lady walking up the road, maybe she's seen the dog before, so I ask her. She doesn't know, because she only has cats (snicker) while I'm talking to the cat-lady another neighbour pulls up, so I ask him If he knows who it belongs to. He doesn't know either. great. Now I'm REALLY running late and I have a missing dog. I head back home, tagging the dog along and call my brother to come out and help. His grilfriend, comes out and by now I'm certain that someone will find out what to do with it, so I rush to the bus stop and onward to uni.
Okay, so its not really like my dream, and they found the dog's owner and gave her back, but still, it was close enough. ^^

It's not mine! Its for a uni assesment I swear!

For one of my classes the end of semester assesment is to make a movie. It can be about what ever you want, for no longer than 2 minutes. First thing I do is find a soundtrack, it's so much easer to animate when you've got something backing it. So I went through my whole music directory and found this: Vestubles - You're a Hamberger. Basically its about all the things hambugers don't do (or have). I'm oing to dress the buger up and make it do all the things in the song.
Which made me wonder. Okay so I'm going to be using one of McDonalds 'Son of Mac's' because the're small, cheap, and tasty; and there's a line in the song
'You dont have a mum, you don't have a daddy,
you're just a bun and and all beef patty.'
SO! If the burger I'm using is a 'SON of Mac' - then who (or what) is the mother? I thought maybe a chicken fillet burger, but I didn't know if anyone else would get the joke. Hm, or maybe something from their 'lite n low fat line' like a bowl of salad. and this is part of my Uni assesments! xDDD

Her: 'So are you up to date with all your assignments?
Me: 'Essentially, Do you have any biggies?'
Her: 'Yeah, I have to do a 2000 word report on the buisness trade ethics of south east asia *groan*, how about you?'
Me: 'I'm animating a hamburger.'
*awkward silence*
Me: 'OKAY! I have to go now.' /me runs off to giggle
Yeah, its the most entertaining thing I'm doing, aside from writing a short story about a whiney teenager with special powers *shock* I'm so original!
Yey! I'd better get back to work then!

I just need to vent some issues, so I sincerly apologise in advance for the whiney, angry, angsty hipocritical rant(s).
Rant#1
My personal bubble has been burst, leaving me covered with cold, sticky, soapy residue; and a severe lack of space.
Ever since my brother and his girlfriend, their two birds and their two cats have moved back in (they had 'issues' with the rental agency) It's been kind of chaotic (in the nicest terms) She's alway everywhere! @_@ She's okay in small doses but for weeks on end... I don't think I'll be able to take it again... Not only that, but one of my estranged Aunts has suddenly decided to be an infuence on my life. I can count the number of times I've seen her in my life on my hands. So, now shes coming over and helping my dad with work, which means that she is constantly everywhere. I feel like locking myself in my room until they both go away... or until I get hungry.

I f*sking hate kids. I really really loathe them. I wish their faces would explode all over their nice neat uniforms. Especially highschoolers, since I was stuck on a buss-load of them this 'arvo. I know its hipocritcal to say this, since not two years ago I too was one of them. But damnit~! Maybe I'm just paranoid but everytime I hear them laughing I swear they're laughing at me. (This may have been just because I was dressed like a pirate at the time, but I still get those nasty highschool flashbacks where everyone laughs at you and call you bad things) Foo. Kids suck. =|

I have two glorious days off uni without the stress and doom of assignments, and then BOOM! Welcome back kiddies, you've got 6 more things to hand in by the end of next week. Aaaahhhh! So the real question is: Why arn't I doing them instead of writing this blog? Because I thought I would implode with the bubbling vat of emotions. So there! xP I'm done.
